DESCRIPTION:Recital – Lecture\nThis lunchtime concert features a selection of Baroque-era songs including works by Purcell and Charpentier\, performed by the exceptional soprano Clara Orif\, an Oxford Song Young Artist  and the accomplished harpsichordist\, Christopher Bucknall. Choix de Chansons\, a luxury songbook by Jean-Benjamin Laborde\, will also be explored as part of a focus on musical scores as artworks. This lecture-recital takes place in the Upper Library\, the architectural ‘jewel in the crown’ of The Queen’s College\, Oxford. \n  \n
